I used a hot glue gun. You have to leave a hole to fill it up with grocery bags. Check out Rowdy in Room 300, she posted the step by step instructions:)

Your apple is so cute....I also used Nicole's project to make one of my own for my door..I did make mine a pencil....they really do use a whole lot of paint!!
